Last week, a new russian freeware route has been published to the DLS. Mosty - Balezino - Solnechnaya 4.1 is a complete revamp and extension of the beloved Balezino - Mosti route from Trainz 2012. This new route has been fitted with some more industries and developed for the use in TRS19 Multiplayer. Signalling and train protection systems work with that as well and make this route suitable for building single player activities too.

Bored? How about some new content?

Since the last week, new free content is out on the DLS that you should defently give a try then!
For everyone intersted in building and operating US railroads, a lot of the freeware content from http://jointedrail.com/ is now available on the DLS as well. That means that this content is finally usable in multiplayer, but also has been updated to work without issues in Trainz 12, T:ANE and TRS19. As some of you may have already observed, we changed the process of submitting new content to our download area.

Content uploaded now has to be reviewed by a member of the team before being made available. This is to ensure that all uploads comply with our terms and conditions but also that all uploads appear in a unified scheme.

In order to being made available, a download must have:
- a thumbnail image
- a larger preview image in the description which may be a higher res version of the thumbnail

As many users gave the feedback that they don't like to pay a lot to recieve a lot of buildin routes that they aren't interested in, TRS19 can now be purchased in regional editions for a smaller price and a smaller amoutn of content. Each of those regional editions contains the Kickstarter County 2 route with associated trains and many of te PBR scenery assets for TRS19. Furthermore they contain:

Soon for all users who have subscribed to the gold membership (a paid beta/Early Access we've explained here) access to the first beta will be available. Besides the features that were mentioned earlier, this weeks newsletter mentions a new camera system for the first beta. The new camera system supposedly unifies camera control between surveyor and driver mode and adds some new cameras.

In the last newsletters, Trainz PLUS was mentioned multiple times which is a feature that is part of the gold subscription.

Trainz Plus is basically a early-access for new game features that are at some point going to be part of a future Trainz version that can be optionally activated for testing.
N3V named a long list of possible features, including adding a lot more parameters to the vehicle physics calculation, integrating the editor straight into driver mode, more animated objects in the game…

after our data loss last week we as the TrainzDepot-Team had to ask outselfes the question, how we’re going to continue from now on. A full restore of the TrainzDepot as it was is unfortunately not possible, at least not one we can use in production again.
