PTP3

    Ich würde davon abraten. Die alte Technik funktioniert nicht mehr, da sich das Konzept von Trainz erheblich geändert hat. Da hilft auch kein Content Manager fix oder etwas anderes schnelles. Das ist ein fundamentales Problem und betrifft alle Skripte.
    Es macht auch keinen Sinn das zu fixen da man eine fast 15 Jahre alte Idee mit rumschleppt. Das geht heute einfacher und schneller. Bezüglich der Strecken ist es so dass die mittlerweile komplett veraltet sind. Außer viel Strecke passt da nicht mehr viel. Es braucht neue Strecken, neue PZB die überall funktioniert und neue Fahrzeuge.

I think if they would make PTP3, I think they should make new routes for that version such as the ones that go from Frankfurt to Cologne (both the old mainlines and the high speed new build line) and Cologne to Dortmund since they've made Dortmund to Hannover.     Ich habe getestet, wieviel Strecken kombiniert werden können. Im TS2010+PTP2 Addon habe ich es geschafft, 8 Strecken zu verknüpfen. Es entstand die Möglichkeit, mit einem ICE von Hamburg-Berlin-Halle(Saale)-Saalfeld-Nürnberg-München(Richtungswechsel im Hbf)-Garmisch-Innsbruck fahren zu können. Gesamtfahrzeit 10 Stunden. Dazu mußten allerdings alle Marker gelöscht und Signale vereinheitlicht werden. Weiterhin sind alle Industrien, sowie die Passagierbahnhöfe rausgenommen worden. Trotzdem neigt der Fahrbetrieb im TS2010 mit nur dem einen Zug doch eher zur beschleunigten Slideshow. Die Performance ist dabei sehr schlecht. Allerdings konnte ich diese "Riesenmap" bisher nicht in eine neuere Trainzversion portieren, da ich bisher nur die wichtigsten Teile TRS19-tauglich gemacht habe. (Eine weitere 9.Strecke (München-Stuttgart) brachte den möglichen Fahrbetrieb zum Erliegen)

    Fazit:

    3 Maps ließen sich problemlos kombinieren. Alles Weitere nagt kräftig an der Performance.


    I tested how many routes can be combined. In the TS2010+PTP2 addon I managed to link 8 routes. The possibility arose of being able to travel with an ICE from Hamburg-Berlin-Halle(Saale)-Saalfeld-Nuremberg-Munich (change of direction in the main station)-Garmisch-Innsbruck. Total driving time 10 hours. To do this, however, all markers had to be deleted and signals standardized. Furthermore, all industries and the passenger stations have been removed. Nevertheless, the driving operation in the TS2010 with only one train tends to be more of an accelerated slide show. The performance is very bad. However, I have not been able to port this "giant map" to a newer Trainz version so far, as I have only made the most important parts TRS19-compatible.(Another 9th route (Munich-Stuttgart) brought possible train operations to a standstill)

    Conclusion:

    3 maps could be easily combined. Everything else eats away at the performance.


    Technisch ist es nicht möglich mehrere Maps im Routelayer zusammenzufügen. Die Routelayer der einzelnen Maps wurden umbenannt und nebeneinander angeordnet.
