Indeed. Some of the most mundane things were given the aestethic treatment and preferebly with a bit of national lore in the mix.
Rytterhuset by Martin Nyrop who also designed København Rådhus (Rathaus) and Bispebjerg Hospital.
We refer to it as Nationalromantik or Skønvirke up here.
Kopenhagen Hauptbahnhof by DSB Oberarchitekt Heinrich Wenck is another masterpiece of the style. So add them to your bucketlist 🙂

Very fancy Fachwerk especially at the big doubledoors. Is it aesthetics over functionality or a regional speciality? Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome.

Luxury toilet paper. Shouldn't it be more of a brownish colour?

Hell yeah!!!
The cover over the basement stairs works perfectly.

Are you going to skip the basement entry on this one?

Looking forward to see what you attack next. But, as you can see from the screenshot I posted, the houses REALLY does something to the setting

I plum forgot. Did you get a chance to look at the other stuff I sent you? There should be enough for many winter nights ahead

I don't know if bended name effects are possible. Anyhow I find this sign very ugly, but it is the original. I think I do two versions, one without sign...
Mick!
Without is fine as well

One of my very first builds for Trainz way back in the past. Great to see the archtypical German water tower in an updated version. Will it be nameable too?

...and there is more where that came from ?

Nice and simple design, and very useful too. Fancy doing a Bedre Byggeskik house, I will scan and send you some drawings.

Hello Marc,
These are some early steps of a bigger historic project based on foreign-inherited coaches used by SNCF after 1945. The first 4 are former German "Eilzugwagen" nicknamed as "Voiture Bastille" under SNCF ownership, due to being used on the Bastille line. My friend works on this project and there was a need for them, although the models reflect the coaches in the mid 1970s, when they were long-moved to southern France and used in regional service there until 1983. So... a little "Bastille" train supplemented by a former Pwi-29 coach is on the way to the download section...
Nice eufemism "inherited coaches"

Ahoi!
I have on my harddrive a number of DSB lokomotives and waggons of the 1930-60 years. I would love to see them run in-game, but since I suffered a stroke a year ago, I am not as fast to pick up new routines anymore. I can still build and create ttextures, but it is all the new features which leaves me cold. So, if anyone will help get some old school DSB rolling stock from my harddrive to the tracks in-game, please let me know. The pictures below is of a Litra AC - a 1st. class coanc for international trains.
