Very nice scene
But, are all of those campers going to sleep in just one cabin?
HA!

In the U.S. we use "Plant" for a very specific type of building and/or group of structures that process something, or support a facility, industry or school.
So, typically, "Plant" is used to denote facilities for industrial or manufacturing processes.
Producers:
Chemical Plant.
Glass Recycling Plant
Power Plant (electricity) - Natural Gas Power Plant, Coal Power Plant, Nuclear Power Plant
Automotive PlantBattery Manufacturing Plant
Support
Physical Plant - also known as a mechanical plant or industrial plant, refers to the essential infrastructure used in the operation and maintenance of a given facility. i,e Power generation/distribution, Parts Machining, Building Maintenance - for any school type - University, College etc.
Transmitter Plant - Contains/operates components related to radio transmission. This includes transmitters, studio-to-transmitter links, antennas, towers, and supporting infrastructure.
The Coal Loader you have modeled hadotwe, should be termed a "Coal Trans-Loading Station" or "Kohleumladestation".
Since it is placed or "stationed" next to locomotive service trackage, and is used for transfer loading a fuel material, and does not produce or manufacture anything. If it were loading from a pre-filled hopper or bin, then just Coal Loading Station or "Kohleverladestation"
This works for any Locomotive/Tender service structure, so > Washing Station, Sand Loading Station, Water Loading Station, Oil Loading Station, Wood Loading Station, Diesel, or just "Fuel" loading Station for modern diesel service.

Hello hadotwe :
The model looks great!
One aspect is bothering me, (and maybe you too).
The tiling of the roof shingles is very obvious.
Do you know how to run the advanced image equalization process in Photoshop? Original process link > Tutorial: How to Equalize Textures in Photoshop.
I have used this on many seed images in many of my own models, often for the roof shingles/tiles/planks of my building models
These are the steps.
Step by Step- Open image in Photoshop
- Duplicate Background layer [ Ctrl-J ]
- Open Filter > Blur > Average…
- Double click Background layer to change it into movable layer.
- Move it to the top of the stack, change it’s opacity to 50% and blending mode to Linear Light
- Open Filter > Other > High Pass… and play with Radius parameter to control the effect
Note: If you’re using the latest Photoshop version you may need to click “Show All Menu Items” in order to access Average and High Pass…
In the High Pass filter, dialogue box > Usually Radius 100 works just fine, but depending on the photo, you might want to adjust it in the range of 50 – 150, depending on image resolution and size of detail.
You may have to adjust contrast/brightness or use levels/curves in the Image>Adjustments menu after equalizing, as sometimes the process washes out color and/or detail.
After processing, the image will be better equalized, and the tiling will be nicer looking.
I can also run the process on your roof texture for you, and send back the the image. -

Super excellent model work !
I have been wanting one of these for several years now.
I will have to add it into all of my narrow-gauge DE layouts !

Toll gemacht! Bitte teile doch auch Name oder kuid mit.

Hey, good morning, amazing work!
I am from the near of Spalt and it seems that this route is almost near reality.
Get it on, my friend!
Thank you for the compliment
It is more an interpretation of the area, I think.
Road field placement and farm location are not accurate to existing locations, and since I have not been able to find a historical Stadtplan for either of the two, it's all very much representative, more of a compromise of what used to exist and my scenic embellishments, rather than prototypical.
The sand quarry is roughly in the correct location, and I am seeing many tributary creeks were left out of the original layout design, so I am adding in those missing water features, where feasible.
The two stone bridges I made are purely my design, since the real bridges are impossible to properly emulate using existing splines.
You can see existing railway features here > Bahnstrecke Georgensgmünd - Spalt (Spalter Bockl) -
Nice. Van you Tell me the kuid of the spline you are using dir the creek?
Sure, Tilo82
The main river spline is <kuid:942578:102936> BCP River Spline small
Part of a 3 spline set from brickcourt, all on the DLS<kuid:942578:102936> BCP River Spline small
<kuid:942578:102944> BCP River Spline island
<kuid:942578:102940> BCP River Spline midsize
For the white water spline, it is <kuid:494602:101948> MG River 2 -15mx15m-103 -
hadotwe , Tilo82 - Thank you for your kind words
Added in Tiefenbach creek, which runs next to the sand quarry.
Since I could not find any stone bridges to match the old existing one's, that span the creek, I whipped up a couple of new ones
One is 20 x 5 meters, the other 20 by 10 meters, with a 30 degree slant. -
Some weeks ago, I discovered the Spalt Georgensgmünd shortline route by spalterbockerl.
I fell in love with the route, but felt it needed a PBR rebuild, more efficient tree/bush scenery, period switches, and just a general over-haul of the entire routes scenery and terrain.
At first, the PBR terrain texture replacement and re-building the tree areas was enough, but the more I learned of the area history, the more I wanted to improve the route.
So, I decided to model both the Spalt and Georgensgmünd bahnhof.
Spalt
Georgensgmünd
Then came the iconic Hopfen warehouse homes in the town of Spalt. 6 new models in all
Then rebuilding the sand quarry site, and cloning a gondola car to carry sand as product, and adding in two new siding areas, to allow two-way line traffic.
Then a rebuild of all of the Hopfen and other farm fields, and the modeling of a period correct combine harvester. A Massey-Harris MH-20 combine.
The 1st commercially successful combine of it's time.
Yesterday and today sees new assets made for the bierfest !
New bandstand, hot air balloons as scenery, and drive-able scenery.
Rebuilding the tributary creeks, and the Fränkische Rezat river
The route is still a week or so away from completion.
I have yet to find assets to emulate the old creek crossing bridges. both for the roads near Georgensgmünd, and along the railway itself, as well as a few other tweaks to existing scenery
I am also still waiting for permission to upload the new route to the DLS from @spalterbockerl

Big Bad Nonja Nice looking layout you‘re working on, I‘m sure the Ge 2/2 would fit perfectly!
No particular timeline on the model though, mostly because I‘m missing images / information about the interior. If someone can help, feel free to drop me a message!
Thanks for responding, mr-woodapple
I'm seeing that you run in TRS22... Will the 2/2 be compatible with TRS2019? That's what I'm building in.
I think I will release the layout and session with the current power/rolling stock I have setup.
When you have the 2/2 ready to go, I'll upload an updated session.

Gute Sache, ich schließe mich mal mit zwei Projekten an. (Beides natürlich sehr stark in Arbeit..)
Greetings mr-woodapple !
Had to pop in and express my excitement at seeing the Rhb-GE-2/2 !I am currently working on, (mostly finished, adding in area details) model railroad layout based on the Graubunden MRR layout by Niek Talsma of the Graubünden of the Alphener club Graubündenbahn. The one loco I'm missing for the session is the Rhb GE 2/2 in this picture.
Here are couple of shots of the Graubunden MRR layout session.
So, I am now wondering, if you have an estimated timeline for release of the 2/2 loco?

Matthias
I am very interested in new FORM signals., matthiasgose. I have three model railroad layouts on the DLS (ricomon35) that use the old, broken versions, and would like to have good working FORM signals available to update my layouts with
Do the lights and signal arms function correctly and show the correct aspects in your versions?
If you do decide to offer your versions, you could post in this thread on the N3V forum. We already have a discussion re: these signals and other (German mechanical, scripted signals) going on there

I am curious as well.
It's been a long tome since Charlie Studios posted.
I do hope all is well

Lovely model. The snow layer especially looks nice
Is it versioned for TRS22 only?

I have re-posted a translated (English) version to the N3V general forum.

Most excellent news Mika - I have 5 German MRR layouts that I can get working correctly again when the new signal sets become available!

mirabell61 - This route has been taken over by dangavel. Originally Euromodeller was working on the new route re-build, but since his passing last year the project has been at a standstill.
There is an ongoing thread on the N3V forum about the route.
Link > The Darjeeling and Himalayan Railway Update for TRS19 by EuromodellerI will possibly also be involved in the re-build, sometime later this year, as I have been making cliff splines for dangavel and other rock related scenery assets.
I will likely be making new splines for the new route as well. Possibly other scenery assets as requested.needed.
Progress will likely be VERY slow over the next couple of years as dangavel and I both have ongoing route projects still to be finished.

The problem with the script on all of those old Polish locos has been around for a few years.
Slovak_Eagle might know a bit more about any fixes, or if a script is in the works.

Danke für all Eure Hinweise und Gedanken.
Hallo dear Big Bad Nonja,
can You tell me please, where exactly I can find the red/cream EMU?
I made some screenshots of the Trainzkatalog Site.
